challenging Marathon courses of Thailand is
right on the Beach Road. To reach the Half
Marathon mark, runners have to master a number
of hills on their way from Pattaya to Jomtien.
Returning to the finish line the athletes
first run along Jomtien’s Beach Road - before
“climbing” and passing the Pattaya hill
between km 36 and 38 to reach Pattaya’s Beach
Distances are Marathon, Half, Quarter and
Wheelchair Marathon, and Student Run.

calendar. The race starts from the lower lobby
area of this well known 5 star hotel. Runners
from all over the country show up to join

midnight along the busy roads of Bangkok.
After the race everyone is invited for a drink
at the Henry Jay Beans Pub where the party
ends in the early morning hours. All proceedings
of the event are donated to the Aids victims
orphanage in Lopburi.

For the 17th time the race will start at 03:30
a.m. right next to the Grand Palace and lead
runners along a selection of historical sites

will be held for the second time in Khon Kaen,
the capital of North Eastern Thailand.
Runners can expect nice and cool conditions
at the end of January, with temperatures not
exceeding 25 degrees Celsius. The course leads
from the University of Khon Kaen through the
town and back to the huge campus.
