The 1st Bangkok Triathlon
1 April 2007

The first time ever, a major city traithlon sets to take place in Bangkok with an initiative of the Raj Pracha Samasai Foundation under the Royal Patronage of H.M. the King.  The event expects a participation of over 500 athletes.  The triathlon consists of 2 different distances, Olympic distance and short sprint distance.  The course is designed to pass the Grand Palace and important landmarks of Bangkok.  Swimming in Chaopraya River is simply challenging so this is something all athletes can prove their spirit!
