Angkor Wat International Half Marathon
Rules and Regulations
EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY

In order to organize the Angkor Wat International Half Marathon 2006 goes smoothly the executive committee decides to issue the following rules and regulation:

1. Categories / Date

16 December 2006

1- 21km fun walking/ 10km fun walking and 5 km fun walking
2- 100km charity bike Marathon ***Under Adjustment***
3- Eve Party

17 December 2006
1- International Half Marathon Men/Women for Over 16 years
2- 10km Men and Ladies for Over 16 years
3- 5km fun run for ladies at the age of over 16 years
4- 4km family run for any age and gender
5- 21km Wheel Chair Men/Women for amputee at any age
6- 10km amputee leg for any age
Notice - Race categories and race entry is not transferable

2. Award
1- The award will give to 3 winners in each category.
2- International Half Marathon sanctioned by Association of International Marathons and Road Races.
3- The other race categories time and count only for 20 runners.
4- The certificate and diploma will be given to runners who finished the goal.

3. Course

1- International Half Marathon start from right side of the goal point.
2- 10km, 5km, 4km, Artificial 10km start from left side of the goal point.

4. Prohibition
1- No any form of wheel-run objects of transport e.g in-line skates, prams, push cars, shoes with
built-in or attached rollers are allowed.
2- No dope or any kind of drug is allowed.
3- No dirty play, short cut (ride motodop or bike etc…).

5. Quarrel/Dispute
1- Any disputes arising from the participation in the Angkor Wat Int’l Half Marathon shall be
referred to Arbitration to be conducted in Cambodia under the law of Cambodia Arbitration Court.
2- The organizers will not responsible for any disputes arising from incomplete entry details.

6. Accident
1- Road closure will be lifted after 3 hours. Participants will then continue on the footpath at their
own risk.
2- A runner must retire from the race immediately if require to do so by any member of the official medical staff.
3- Whilst every reasonable precaution will be taken by the organizer to ensure that participants’ safety but if any accident happen during the race.

7. Properties Lost
1- Whilst every reasonable precaution will be taken by the Organizers to ensure that participants’ safety, participants run at their own risk and the organizer shall not be liable for any loss and/or damage, whether personal or otherwise, and how ever arising
.

8. Cancellation
1- There will no fee refund if the event is cancelled for any reason.
2- The organizer reserve the right to limit and refuse entry.
3- Once the registration form has been duly processed, there will be no fee refund for those participants who eventually have been dully processed, there will be no fee refund for any reason.

9. Registration & Final Confirmation
1- International Half Marathon requires registering online if in a broad.
2- The applicant before the deadline requires 2 photo of passport size and sign on application form.
3- Application Deadline: 04 December 2006.
4- No representative for final confirmation.
5- Final Confirmation from 14 to 16(12:00) December 2006.
6- Application after deadline from 05 to 16 (12:00) December 2006 will be fined US$5.00.
7- All participants should pick up their race entry packs including BIB Number, T-shirt, Official
guide book* and ChampionChip**.

* Official guide books are for international runner only.
** Champion chips are for half marathon only and must deposit USD 10.00.

10. ChampionChip®
1- As ChampionChips are rental item, all participants are responsible to return their chip to the
organizers immediately after the race. A USD 20.00 penalty applies for the loss of the above-mentioned chip.

11. Picture & Photo
1- The organizers reserve the right to use any photographs, motion pictures, recordings, or any other record of this event for any legitimate purpose, including commercial advertising.

12. Committee
1- The committee reserve the to change this rules and regulation in emergency case.
2- Other item which not mention in the rules and regulation must follow the international athletic rule and regulation 2006.
